JEWEL'S LEARNING CENTER is a small family owned business, which started in 1984 as Jewel’s Babies, a registered family home childcare. We grew in numbers by word of mouth so we took steps to become a licensed childcare center in 1987, and our name changed to Jewel’s Day Care. As we cared for the children and nurtured the children, we also taught them many lessons, therefore we had to change our name to JEWEL'S LEARNING CENTER in 1989. At Jewel’s it is our mission to foster a love for learning in every child who comes our way. It is our goal to help our children to have SUCCESSES, NOT FAILURES, in learning the basics of education and life. We want our children to start with a good solid foundation that has been built with lots of LOVE and UNDERSTANDING. In addition to being state licensed since 1984, we are also a TRS Center-4 stars, a Texas School Ready Certified Center, a former FC4 site (Family- Centered Child Care Collaborative), NCI Designated Vendor through the Texas Workforce Solutions and we are part of the Inclusive Childcare Network.
